English Language Module

Objectives

The course is designed to act as both a refresher course and an introduction to English grammar and language used. The course aims to develop awareness and use of the conventions of academic English among students from Francophone learning cultures.  More specifically, the course will further develop reading and writing abilities in a variety of academic registers as well as developing listening and speaking skills through lectures, seminars and presentations within a university context.  In doing so, we aim to help advance the abilities of learners to enhance their skills related to their degree programme.
